Creative design giant Adobe is beefing up the products it offers businesses to include custom generative AI models. Adobe launched Adobe AI Foundry on Monday, a new offering that allows enterprises to work with the company to build custom generative AI models trained on their branding and intellectual property. The foundry’s custom models, which can produce text, images, video, and other mediums like 3D scenes, are built off Adobe’s Firefly family of AI models. Oura announced on Monday that it’s launching a new redesigned app experience and a “Cumulative Stress” feature. The company also shared that it’s pursuing FDA clearance for blood pressure features that give users a likelihood assessment of hypertension. LONDON (AP) — Internet users around the world faced widespread disruption early on Monday because of a problem at Amazon’s cloud computing service that took down dozens of major online services, including social media site Snapchat, the Roblox and Fortnite video games and chat app Signal. Google has announced DeepSomatic, an AI tool that can identify cancer-related mutations in tumour genetic sequences more accurately.Cancer starts when the controls governing cell division malfunction. Finding the specific genetic mutations driving a tumour’s growth is essential for creating effective treatment plans. Doctors now regularly sequence tumour cell genomes from biopsies to inform treatments that can target how a particular cancer grows and spreads.Published in Nature Biotechnology, this work presents a tool that uses convolutional neural networks to identify genetic variants in tumour cells with greater accuracy than current methods.
