The airport disruptions across Europe that began over the weekend were caused by a ransomware attack, according to the European Union’s cybersecurity agency ENISA on Monday.   “ENISA is aware of the ongoing disruption of airports’ operations, which were caused by third-party ransomware incident. At this moment, ENISA cannot share further information regarding the cyberattack,” the agency said in an emailed statement to TechCrunch.   The ransomware attack targeted Collins Aerospace, a company that provides among other things check-in systems to several airports, including Berlin, Brussels, and London’s Heathrow. Chipmaker Nvidia will invest $100 billion in OpenAI as part of a partnership announced Monday that will add at least 10 gigawatts of Nvidia AI data centers to ramp up the computing power for the owner of the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT.Per the letter of intent signed by the companies, the first gigawatt of Nvidia systems will be deployed in the second half of 2026. On Monday, eBay announced that it’s acquiring Tise, a social marketplace for secondhand fashion and interior design items. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company says the Oslo, Norway-based Tise’s platform will open the door to a community of Gen Z and millennial customers. Commonwealth Fusion Systems has agreed to sell Italian energy company Eni more than $1 billion worth of power from its first fusion reactor. The power plant will be built outside of Richmond, Virginia, close to some of the highest densities of data centers in the country. The 400-megawatt fusion reactor, called Arc, is expected to open in the early 2030s, CEO Bob Mumgaard said.  The Eni agreement is the second such deal for Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS).
