The Washington Post has said that it was one of the victims of a hacking campaign tied to Oracle’s suite of corporate software apps.   Reuters first reported the news on Friday, citing a statement from the newspaper that said it was affected “by the breach of the Oracle E-Business Suite platform.”  A spokesperson for the Post did not immediately respond to TechCrunch’s request for comment. Seven families filed lawsuits against OpenAI on Thursday, claiming that the company’s GPT-4o model was released prematurely and without effective safeguards. Four of the lawsuits address ChatGPT’s alleged role in family members’ suicides, while the other three claim that ChatGPT reinforced harmful delusions that in some cases resulted in inpatient psychiatric care. Rivian has given its founder and CEO RJ Scaringe a new performance-based stock award that could ultimately be worth around $5 billion if all the underlying goals are met, according to a new filing. Peloton is recalling around 833,000 of its original Bike+ machines following reports that some seat posts broke during use, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The CPSC reports that Peloton has received three complaints related to the issue, including two incidents in which users were injured.
